Practice highlights

Well, attending practice was at least as interesting as the competition in itself ! I was so impressed by a training session that i wrote an article that you can find here : "the era of quads".

The other practice highlight for me was Emmanuel Sandhu practicing the double Axels in a row (used to break tie). He started doing one, then two, then three... at the end he did eight double axels in a row, all very well done, smooth and elegant as he can do so well. Each jump covered a fourth of the inner circle, and then at the end of his jumps he had made two turns around the rink. Wow !


And last, check this unusual pic : ladies and men on the same ice... though not skating pairs nor ice dancing !
